Daystrong is a food and fitness tracker, which means you trust us with information about what you eat. We treat that as personal, keep what we collect to a minimum, and never sell it. Here is the plain version.
What we collect
- Account details: your email and a secure identifier from our sign-in provider so you can log in across devices.
- What you log: meals, foods, calories, macros, goals, weight entries, and saved meals you create.
- Photos you scan: when you use the photo feature, the image is sent to our food-recognition service to estimate nutrition.
- Health Connect data: steps and weight only after you grant the relevant Android permissions.
- Basic technical data: app version, device type, and error logs, used to keep Daystrong working.
What we do with it
- Show you your diary, daily ring, macros, and trends.
- Turn a photo, barcode, or search into a calorie and macro estimate.
- Sync your data across your devices when you are signed in.
- Diagnose problems and improve accuracy over time.
Photos and AI
Meal photos are processed to estimate nutrition and are not used to identify you or shown to other users. We do not use your photos for advertising. Every estimate is yours to review and edit before it is saved, and nothing is logged automatically without your confirmation.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your personal data.
- We do not show ads inside your food log.
- We do not share your diary with third parties for marketing.
Your control
You can edit or delete any entry at any time. You can request a copy of your data or ask us to delete your account and its contents by emailing support@arturf.ch. We will action deletion requests within a reasonable time.
Data location and security
Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored on managed infrastructure. We limit access to what is needed to operate the service. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and to fix issues quickly.
Children
Daystrong is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your region), and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
As Daystrong grows we will update this policy and note the date at the top. If a change materially affects how we use your data, we will tell you in the app.
This page is a plain-language summary provided for transparency while Daystrong is in early access. It is not legal advice, and it will be replaced by a full agreement before any paid plan launches. Questions? Email support@arturf.ch.
